The Lower Campus is where our babies and toddlers live on Project Canaan. This is where children arrive when they are placed at Project Canaan, so we can start loving them back to life. The Lower Campus houses 90 children on average within 3 buildings, or homes.
How to Sponsor a Child
Help us invest in the future of these children by becoming a monthly child sponsor (Angel) or providing a one-time gift. Click the button below to help us care for our kids in Africa today.
Kuthula Place houses our “tiny” babies (newborns up to 6-months old).
When a child reaches 6-months old, they move into the El Roi Baby Home. This was the first home we built and opened on February 1, 2012.
Once a child passes their second birthday and is walking, talking and feeding themselves, they move up to the Labakhetsiwe Toddler Home (which means, “the chosen ones”). All 3 homes share the same yard, shade area, and playground, allowing for smooth transitions as the children move up. Children remain in the Toddler Home until they have been potty trained.
