REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
TRIP DATES: JUNE 7-17, 2025
what we'll be doing: CAMP CANAAN!
Participants will spend the majority of the week on Project Canaan, starting with a complete tour of Project Canaan, our 2500-acre fully operational farm and children’s home. Each year additional buildings and initiatives are incorporated, and both new and return participants will experience an up-close look at the growth that has occurred.
We plan to host Camp Canaan with our older children. You will also have the opportunity to serve a local homestead in the community to deliver food, clothing and spend time with the family. One day will be spent participating in a feeding program at one of our rural church partners and we will visit a local game drive another day.
shopping and local travels
The Khutsala™ Artisan shop on Project Canaan will be open multiple times throughout the week, and participants will be able to stock up on our beautiful Khutsala™ and Kufundza products. Our jewelry, Christmas ornaments, charcuterie boards, and many other items are all handmade on site, providing employment for our neighbouring communities. On average, every employee can provide for 7 people at home. All profits are used to further our mission of self-sustainability and to provide care for more than 420 children living on Project Canaan. These make great gifts or souvenirs, and each purchase truly makes an impact!
You will also embark on a safari game drive at Hlane Royal National Park where you’ll get to see beautiful African animals right in front of you!

Schedules
Each participant is encouraged to maintain a group mindset throughout the trip. We want to ensure that everyone has a great experience, and we prepare based on what is best for the group. As Project Canaan grows, specifically the children’s campus, we must make modifications that will best serve those on and off the property, as well as provide consistency and structure for the schedule our staff works so diligently to create. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to improve your trip experience!
